In this article they discuss a peace agreement made between Israel and Palestine. It presents speeches made by several leaders of the world who are involved in the conflict. They praise each other in finally allowing peace to begin in Palestine. The Palestinian people are now allowed to form their own government. Israel will pull back out of Palestine and release their control over them. With this treaty Palestine now has complete control over their government. As the speech says, they are now able to write their own destiny. This article shows the reader what was done to bring some peace between the two nations. It shows that this is a huge world event and a advancement towards world peace.

Israeli soldiers opened fire on hundreds of stone-throwing Palestinians. By: Hanson, Cynthia, McLaughlin, Abraham T., Christian Science Monitor, 08827729, 12/1/95, Vol. 88, Issue 5
This article illustrates some of the violence in the Palestine-Israeli conflict. It tells how two weeks before Israeli soldiers were to pull out of Palestine this event took place. This was an apparent response to two Israeli soldiers being kidnapped. Palestinian civilians threw rocks at Israeli soldiers who in turn opened fire on them. This is a great example of the violence between the two nations.

Research Proposal

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a war that has been raging on for decades. The Israel claims that Palestine is part of their territory and is trying to reclaim it. Palestine is refuting Israel claims and is defending  themselves. This war has been a one-sided battle in favor of Israel however there doesn't seem to be an end it sight. Which side is right, Israel or Palestine?
I will try to answer this question by using information that I can find. I will try to remain unbiased and hopefully gather enough information and descriptions to form an opinion. I will search for information through the internet. I will preferably look for news site and try to avoid biased websites. On the internet there are a lot of opinions so I will have to tread carefully. I want to bring both sides of the argument. I will also discuss the history and current events of the conflict.
I hope through my research paper I will be able to help people form their own opinions. I want to bring awareness to this conflict. Not enough people know about what is going on. I myself only know only a little bit of information. I hope to attract people who are unaware of what is going on. By showing people maybe they can spread the word as well. If they do not spread the word, at least they’ll be informed.  As well as people who do not know a whole lot about the situation. Not a lot of people know about this conflict.
